Each of our partners advises us on our curriculum, creating a quality academic program that delivers real learning in a fun way.
Our Science Program

The Tech Museum of Innovation partners
with Camp Galileo to provide an innovative
educational approach to the summer day
camp experience. The Tech staff advises
our team on the creation of our science curriculum
each year. Using The Tech’s “Design
Challenge” approach to learning, campers
work in small groups to develop hands-on
solutions to science and engineering problems.
Campers design, test, re-design and
then re-test in an effort to come up with the best solutions
Our Art Program
The de Young Museum works with Camp Galileo to develop its art program, and provides its collection and resources as inspiration for art activities. The de Young’s Director of Education advises our team on our art curriculum and helps select artists and activities that are relevant for each theme. de Young staff also provide detailed background information on the artists we teach in order to provide campers with relevant art history knowledge.
Our Outdoor Program

Klutz has engaged kids for 30 years with popular books such as Cat’s Cradle, Face Painting and Juggling for the Complete Klutz. Campers enjoy Klutz’s unique and fun-filled outdoor activities, ranging from team-building games to cool crafts. Klutz provides all of the materials for the crafts portion of our outdoor time. We select campers’ favorite activities year after year, and Klutz ensures we have enough resources to keep the creative juices flowing!
