As a core part of our mission, Galileo is committed to making summer camp available to a diverse group of kids every year. We set aside 10% of spots at our camp programs for scholarships valued at over $450,000 for 2008. The Galileo Scholarship program awards full and partial scholarships to low- and middle-income families who need financial assistance. Through a partnership with the Girl Scouts, we are also offering scholarships specifically for campers who are Girl Scouts with financial need. If you are a Girl Scout, please indicate so on the application form and you will be considered for a Girl Scout scholarship.

How to Apply
The 2008 Scholarship Application deadline has now passed. We will no longer be accepting applications for this summer.

How to Donate

There are two ways to donate to Galileo’s Scholarship Fund:

  • Thanks to Galileo’s partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula, families can make a tax-deductible donation to help fund scholarships at all of our camps.

  • Make a non-tax-deductible donation during the enrollment process. Families can add a donation to their total camp fees when enrolling online or when filling out the enrollment form. These contributions can be designated to a specific camp by indicating so on your pledge form.
